“If justice prevails, Mas will be making waves in the Danish hip-hop super league before we know it,” wrote Danish media Soundvenue at the start of 2026, having witnessed one of the rapper’s ambitious and captivating concerts. It’s hard to disagree with that statement, and we are therefore also extremely excited that MAS is once again heading to Roskilde Festival, where he already threw a massive party back in 2023.

In the intervening years, Mas has impressed both listeners and critics with the trilogy Når Man Taler Om Solen, Månen Er Min Ven and, most recently, Jorden Kalder. A trilogy that has cemented his status as an original and lyrical voice in Danish hip-hop and as an artist with towering creative ambitions, yet also manages to see his ambitions through to the end with both thoughtfulness, nerve and an organic musical expression.

These are qualities that Mas also brings to his concerts, where the conceptual ideas and grand artistic gestures from his releases are accompanied by an extraordinary sense of presence and close interaction with the audience, whilst Mas manages to demonstrate exceptional skill as one of Denmark’s finest rappers.

Mas is an artist who embraces contrasts, with room for dreamy passages, fragility, hard-hitting bangers and a party atmosphere. This lends a powerful dynamic to his concerts, which are elevated by a terrific live band that blends the organic with the electronic. It’s going to be a huge experience to see Mas unfold all the nuances of his trilogy on stage at Roskilde Festival, where the stage is set for a top-class hip-hop concert.
