There is no single collective solution for feeling mental well, expanding your horizons, or awakening a belief that the world can be different.
At this year's festival, the global student movement Operation Day's Work invites you to an interactive workshop and installation at Flokkr. An opportunity to explore your inner peace and discover how we can build a fairer, more just world by tackling fundamental challenges—two sides of the same coin.
Find Peace in Art and Presence
Take part in the workshop Find Peace in Art and Presence, where Operation Day's Work invites you to explore your mental health. Inspired by the young people in Zimbabwe and their fight for mental health, we create a safer space with room for creativity and reflection.
Mental health starts with taking a step back, breathing, and creating something together with other people despite your differences.
Decolonize Your Brain
Step into the installation Decolonize Your Brain and challenge your senses. Try and sense your way the injustice that is part of everyday life in countries such as Greenland, Thailand, Malaysia, Sierra Leone, and Palestine.
The installation puts you in contact with some of the brave young people from Operation Dagsværk's previous projects and shows what they are doing to create a better, more just world.
Through the interactive installation, you not only experience injustice – but also hope. Grab a piece of colonialism, disrupt the moment, and help shape a new reality. The world won't change by itself - but you can start here.
Operation Day's Work is Denmark's global student movement and is behind the annual solidarity day. Every year since 1985, Operation Day's Work has created strong ties between young people in Denmark and across the globe. Young people are the essense in everything they do - in short, Operation Day's Work is made by, with and for young people.
Roskilde Festival has teamed up with the organization's FLOR, Youth Network of the Climate Festival, Operation Day's Work, SAGA, and the Danish Red Cross Youth in an action community we call Flokkr Lab.
You can experience all the Flokkr Lab partners' program content during the Roskilde Festival.
Flokkr Lab is supported by Erasmus+.
