At Roskilde Festival, we all contribute to making the festival as sustainable as possible. That’s why it’s important that you and your camp tidy up after yourselves.
To make it as easy as possible, we’ve put together a three-step guide to help you leave Roskilde Festival 2025 with style – and a clear conscience.
Just like at home, it’s important to sort your waste when you're at the festival. Waste must be separated into four familiar categories: metal, glass, residual waste, and plastic/food & drink cartons.
In some areas, you’ll be given bags for all four types. If not, you can pick them up from the towers or the sorting stations. BinFluencers will also be handing out sorting bags around the campsite – you’ll recognise them by their green vests.
Sorted waste should be taken to the sorting stations in the camping area. Broken camping gear, hazardous waste and cardboard can also be dropped off there, or at the entrances and car parks.
To make room for thousands of happy guests again next year, we all need to tidy up 100%. That means packing down your tents and pavilions and taking them home, so you and your camp can reuse them next year.
If you’ve rented camping equipment from us, please return it by 12:00 on Sunday when the campsite closes – drop-off points can be found at the Service Hubs marked on the map.
If you have things that others can use, and you don’t want to take them home, you can donate them for direct reuse at the sorting stations.
Once you’ve sorted and packed everything like a pro, it’s time to head home. And the most environmentally friendly way to do that is by using public or shared transport.
The shuttle trains depart from Roskilde Festival Station in Camping West throughout the night and until 13:59 on Sunday. You can check train times here.
